LOOK: Bohol town's very own 3D Abbey Road

MANILA - Recreate The Beatles' iconic Abbey Road photo in Bohol's very own Tajang 3D Lane in Loon town.
The local government urges tourists to strike their best pose as they cross the Tajang Pass Causeway.
"The three-dimensional road art challenges everyone to strike the best pose at the right angle in order to create a certain scene for the camera," its Facebook post reads.
"What makes the experience more challenging is that up close the faux passageway actually does not have a perspective view, unlike when the scene is captured on camera."
According to the local government, Ching Relampagos, a volunteer consultant, and an architect, Manuel Maestrado, came up with the design to "inject a fresh perspective to make Loon attractive to tourists, investors and other stakeholders."
"Loon is not along the main tourism highway of Bohol. Loon has been badly hit by the magnitude 7.2earthquake and is still on the recovery mode. Hence, while the LGU's main focus is on rebuilding damaged infrastructure, we cannot just leave tourism initiatives on the sideline," Relampagos said in a statement.
"Therefore, it became imperative to approach any tourism initiative with an 'outside the box' thinking while being mindful of the possible costs involved."
Relampagos said she was inspired by 3D pedestrian lanes in Iceland and India.
"And I thought why not for Loon? So I made this suggestion to the Loon Tourism Board," she said.
Loon also offers "99 Hugot Lines" along Tajang Pass Causeway where tourists may snap moody photos with their own choice of "hugot."
